1. Acknowledgement of ICAN and ANAN

Edentos is built around documents published by the professional accountancy bodies of Nigeria, and we gratefully acknowledge them:

• The syllabuses, study texts, pilot questions, pathfinders, past examination questions and suggested solutions of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), including the Accounting Technicians Scheme West Africa (ATSWA), are the work and property of ICAN.
• Materials of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) are the work and property of ANAN.

Wherever Edentos shows or relies on these materials, it says which document and page they come from, so that the Institutes' own work is always identifiable and credited. Questions labelled Official are the Institutes' questions with their suggested solutions; questions labelled Additional are written for Edentos and are not the Institutes' work.

2. Independence

Edentos is an independent study platform operated by Aradizo Tech Solutions Ltd (RC 9823337). It is not owned, operated, sponsored, endorsed or approved by ICAN or ANAN. The names ICAN, ATSWA and ANAN are used only to identify the examinations Edentos helps candidates prepare for. Nothing on Edentos is an official communication from either Institute; for official information, including examination rules, dates and results, always refer to the Institutes directly.

3. Content written with artificial intelligence

Summaries, Additional questions, explanations, model answers where no official solution exists, audio narration and the marking of handwritten scripts are produced with the help of artificial intelligence and checked against the source documents. Despite that, they may contain errors or omissions. Where a summary or answer differs from the official study text, the study text prevails.

4. Marks are practice estimates

Marks given by Edentos for mock examinations and handwritten scripts are estimates to help you practise. They are not awarded by ICAN or ANAN, may differ from how an examiner would mark the same answer, and do not predict your result.

5. No guarantee of results

Edentos helps you study; it does not guarantee that you will pass any examination or achieve any mark or qualification. Your result depends on your own preparation and performance.

6. Not professional advice

Content on Edentos is for examination study only. It is not accounting, tax, audit, legal or financial advice, and laws, rates and standards may have changed since the material was written. Do not rely on it for real-world decisions.

7. The daily challenge

The naira amounts in the daily challenge game (up to "₦1,000,000") are play money, used only to make practice motivating. They are not real money; nothing is won, owed or paid, and they cannot be exchanged for cash or anything else.
